What quality standards are used?

How to decide if the number of defects found is acceptable?

We use the recognized international quality standard ISO 2859-1 (ANSI / ASQC Z1.4-2003), also known as the AQL Tables for product inspections.

The AQL (Quality Acceptance Limit) technical definition is “the maximum percentage of defects that for sampling inspection purposes can be considered satisfactory as an average of the average process.”

We select the size of the sample (based on AQL tables). We inspect the products of this sample and classify the defects.

According to the number of defects found for each type and according to the number of defects allowed (figures given by tables AQL), we proceed to give a report whether to accept or reject your shipment.

The customer makes a decision based on our information and the recommendations sent by our team.

There are usually 3 types of situations:

1) Negotiate with the supplier.
2) Accept the shipment.
3) Refuse boarding.

In fact, you should only present one situation: you discuss the results of the inspection with your supplier and ask him to have more attention / rework / reproduce and classify the products.
